So I went into the craft room hunting an image that would be funny or work for a joke. I can't remember the last time I used a funny image and my mind wasn't super sharp (it was late). I found this image that I have had a very long time. I don't think I ever used it because I couldn't get a good image from it - pre-MISTI. It works great in the MISTI.
So then I stamped and colored and stenciled (CAS challenge this week is about stenciling - one of my favorite techniques) and added red and realized that it is not funny or humorous (well maybe a little) and there is no joke. It is cute, it does remind me of Anne - red touches and a cute and spunky woman, and I am going with it. I will add a joke on the inside - not sure what joke but I am going to go find one before I leave for work.
This also fits the color challenge - red, pink and silver (I used a silver colored pencil on her hair and pink and red on her dress).
Many hugz fellow tea party, fun color, and CAS girls, one of my resolutions is to pop in more.

Really cute card, Nancy! I love the coloring and stenciling. Yes, this is definitely Anne and I know her grandkids would agree with this! So glad you could come to tea!
