We have a local church in town (the second oldest Methodist church in the State - San Augustine TX beats us by about 2 years). I am not a member of that church but I attend many functions there and in fact help lead tours of the stained glass windows there. We have many trees around these parts. And though most of the trees near the church are oaks, this is somewhat the look you see when driving by the church of the trees and the stained glass. So, In keeping only to the challenge colors, I decided to just emboss a branch in front of the window and the verse. I sort of wish I would have only put the greeting on the front of the card and used the verse inside. But I still like the way my Church Windows turned out!

Lovely card! Some of the stained glass windows in the Cathedrals in Europe are breathtaking but I love the simpler ones in smaller churches just as well. Your pine bough and sentiment are beautiful and thank you for the story behind it!

What a great card! I love the way you did all the images and used these colors. Great story too! Super card. Hugz
