Both the hummingbird and the fuchsias were faintly stamped on watercolor paper and then watercolored....think it is called "no-line watercoloring". Then they were cut out. BG was also done on watercolor paper, but sponged with TH inks and then water drops added. In doing this, several DTGD18 challenges were included.

I have both fushias and humming birds in my yard and neither are as pretty as your water colored ones turned out to be. Gorgeous!! The colors are so vibrant.

I've just googled the thesaurus for "stunning" because I think I've used it every time I get to comment on your post - best result - "dazzling". If you've never done "no-line" watercoloring before - it's been our loss.

Wonderfully coloured! My mother grew a massive fuchsia every summer (won't survive the winter here) and my MIL loves hummingbirds so this is a very memory filled card for me! Your colouring is always a treat but I also love the way you finish off your cards. The images are so well supported!
