This card is for Stef's (dahlia19) beautiful Color Challenge. Her selected color combination is SU Smoky Slate, Watermelon Wonder, and Old Olive. The color combination is so beautiful. Stef's dessert option is to use a die cut sentiment/shape/image.
I used dies to create the floral arrangement, cage, and frame on my card. I colored the flowers and leaves with copic sketch markers closely related to Stef's colors.
I added additional layers to the flowers and some of the leaves to create a 2-dimensional floral arrangement. I placed a pearl in the center of the flowers. The cage and frame were cut from SU Smoky Slate cardstock.
Thank you for stopping by to view my card. I greatly appreciate comments!

Oh, sweet Bev, this is gorgeous! I agree with everyone above that this is so beautifully designed with wonderful dies and a great balance of color. Stunning birdcage die that I keep eyeing from time to time (especially after seeing a card like yours). Hugs, precious and loved friend!! xoxo (P. S. For now, we have some sun today!)

I spy some gorgeous cards in your gallery, Bev! That red pops like the Fourth of July on your beautiful die cut cage in the background. Very nice card!

Beautifully done. Love that stitched border around the edge. Finishes your card perfectly.
