I’ve been making a lot of Altoid tin containers lately, and it seemed only fitting to send our friend Carlene, who is also an Alpha sister, a vintage suitcase full of healing wishes to speed recovery from her knee surgery. This little suitcase has been around; its edges are worn and its “leather” finish is beginning to crack and peel. The inside is filled with goodies, an old “pearl” necklace, a ragged deck of cards with some missing, a favorite choker, and no one wants to forget the tin of yarns and knitting needles (really a magnet) or the good book for resting while traveling. Extra credit for the ribbon edging on the suitcase!
Take care, friend, and I hope to see you soon back to being your crafty self! TFL

I LOVE IT!! My little suitcase of good cheer arrived and is just darling...the leather-like covering and all the little travels stamps, the braided trim with the darling handle and brads to affix it. Then, inside the pleated pockets like an old-fashioned suitcase...a book for my reading, cards for solitaire, yarn and knitting needles...pearls and a butterfly necklace...OMGosh...it is "unforgettable!" TY and big HUGS, Kandie!!!!
