I’ve been making a lot of Altoid tin containers lately, and it seemed only fitting to send our friend Carlene, who is also an Alpha sister, a vintage suitcase full of healing wishes to speed recovery from her knee surgery. This little suitcase has been around; its edges are worn and its “leather” finish is beginning to crack and peel. The inside is filled with goodies, an old “pearl” necklace, a ragged deck of cards with some missing, a favorite choker, and no one wants to forget the tin of yarns and knitting needles (really a magnet) or the good book for resting while traveling. Extra credit for the ribbon edging on the suitcase!
Take care, friend, and I hope to see you soon back to being your crafty self! TFL

What an outstanding creation this is for Carlene. It's vintage which she adores, and it is filled with wonderful goodies which will entertain her too. I know my mind immediately took me to some of our trips when I saw this wonderful vintage altoid tin suitcase you made. I adore the way your mind works when you are making these miniature works of art Kandie. This is such a thoughtful and special gift and one that Carlene will truly treasure. Hugs! ~Karen.

Fabulous inside and out. It does look like a worn vintage suitcase. The travel stickers really make it. Love your attention to detail. The contents are precious and so appropriate. The lining is beautiful. Very nicely done! TFS
