WooHoo it is tickle a Teapotter time and Polly has us channeling our inner Vincent Van Gogh. This was heaps of very messy, inky fun and if they ever dry I will be a happy camper!
The card on the left was coloured using white gesso and a few drops of spiced marmalade Distress re-inkers. The one on the right was made using gold gesso and then spiced marmalade distress ink finger painted over the top.
In real life the gold gesso one is bright gold and bright orange, they look very different here. After stenciling and trying to dry them with a heat gun I dabbed them in a watery puddle of Mermaid Lagoon Distress Spray Stain.
I'm glad I do all this messy sort of work on sheets of aluminium foil - no cleaning required, just chuck it out.
Thank you for looking and thanks to Polly for a great challenge.
