I got out two old tools that have not been used in a long while. One was the crimper and the other was that thing that looked like a nasal suction device (not sure what it was actually called). The crimper worked fine. I got out my old SU watercolor markers to use this other device on and I never did find one that would work. I guess my old markers are not so juicy anymore. So, I spritzed some oxide ink on to my TH work pad, then used this device to blow the ink around. Then I got the idea to use some of my reinker ink, so that brown ink was some that I blew around on the paper with that device. I think that tool was probably my biggest waste of money ever spent. It must be almost 20 years old, so why do I still own it, I wonder.
The card was partially made from a previous project, so I got out this old bird that hasn't seen the light of day in awhile, and fussy cut him to sit on my branch I made with the blown ink.

Cute scene you have created with the background crimped! I have one of the other tool you talked about, never could get it to work right! I think we are all having fun today, finding old tools! Nice job!

Some clarification here---I put the wet ink onto the paper and tried to blow it different directions with the bulb gadget. I did not place ink into the bulb, so don't anyone try that thinking this is the results. Most of the splatters seen on the card were done by the oxide ink smash technique and was done a a previous project that I ended up not using.
I think I will keep that thing and let my great grandchildren wonder what the hell it was used for.
It has given me great fun today trying to make it work in some form or fashion and I thougth I knew what to do with it. LOL
