So happy to see Beverly (Ruby-heartedmom) here today as the FS - Beverly and I met each other for lunch way back in 2010 when she visited Boston where I worked at the time. It's always fun to meet fellow SCSers - you are instant friends because of the love we share for card making!
So - I wanted to make some Thanksgiving cards and looked for something in her gallery to inspire me - I went back to April to find this fall beauty
I used Brushos for my background with the cling wrap technique (see Lydia's tutorial here) and die cut a tree in black. The panel is up on foam dots and the tree is adhered to the panel with an overhang on the right. I added the simple fall sentiment from Sweet N Sassy. I'm going back to my craft room to make 3 more of these as I made enough background to do that.
Congrats on being the FS this week Beverly! I enjoyed looking through your gallery! and thank you for my fall card inspiration!

Wonderfully inspired. Love your creation. The colors are awesome. They are good for Fall, but still bright & cheery. Love the die-cut tree. Nicely done. TFS
