Congratulations Mary! I have so enjoyed viewing your gallery and you have quite a few beauties, it was so hard to go with one.... This one caught my eye with the blending of the colors,
. This card was so much fun to make. Cottage Greetings In the Meadow by Stamps-n-lingers at Splitcoaststampers I started off by chalking the background - trying hard to make a really dark night. I then stamp the image & using watercolor pencils colored the cabin - including the roof. This card (hopefully) somewhat resembles a framed picture. I made the frames by stamping the hardwood stamp, using two different rectangular dies cutting out the frame, then using the distressed inks to give the more wood look color to it. I also stamped the image on the inside of the card in a light gray, that is what you see in front of the card. I think that it added a special touch. This is the first time in over a year that I have posted a card, so I might be a little rusty. I hope you enjoy your special day, and thanks for looking. I would appreciate hearing what you think... Thanks for looking....
