Hello, dear friends! How about more flowers? Surprise, right? I absolutely love sunflowers, and we've even grown some here in our yard. Oh, they are amazing and come in all sorts of colors. So I had fun coloring the newest Instant Garden digi. I decided to use X-Press It Blending Card for this card and used my Copic chart that I colored printed on X-Press It Blending Card. It's amazing the difference in the colors depending on what paper you use. Anyway, I colored my image and slowly added more contrast (something that terrifies me - ha!). The photograph doesn't capture the softer yellow I used. But it is nicer IRL, I think. There are two very nice sentiments with this release, but I need some cards for friends that are in need of prayer. So the lovely sentiment from Rose & Chamomile is perfect. I wanted this full image to take front stage, so I used the Wonky Stitched dies with a blue mat, and that makes for a very mail friendly card.
And since I've used the decorative wonky stitching for my border, I'm using this for this week's Ways To Use It challenge.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card. I hope you like it, and I hope that it will encourage my friend. Have a wonderful weekend coming up, and let's all continue to pray for our country and for France.

You know Cheryl, I could look at your gallery all day. I just love the way you color up Marcella's beauties. This gorgeous sunflower card of yours makes me drool (hope I spelled that right). You enable me to pull this stamp set out of my drawer and do something with it soon. Have been away from stamping because of a back strain but will resume my card making next week. Thank you Cheryl for that nice comment you left on my tulip card. Thanks for that Powerpoppy keyword info (didn't know that) and soon I will add that card to the PP challenge. I am not tech savvy so my husband will help me with that. Thanks for looking out for me. I ended up going through my gallery and correcting all my PP cards with that correct keyword. Take care my friend.
