Hello, dear friends! How about more flowers? Surprise, right? I absolutely love sunflowers, and we've even grown some here in our yard. Oh, they are amazing and come in all sorts of colors. So I had fun coloring the newest Instant Garden digi. I decided to use X-Press It Blending Card for this card and used my Copic chart that I colored printed on X-Press It Blending Card. It's amazing the difference in the colors depending on what paper you use. Anyway, I colored my image and slowly added more contrast (something that terrifies me - ha!). The photograph doesn't capture the softer yellow I used. But it is nicer IRL, I think. There are two very nice sentiments with this release, but I need some cards for friends that are in need of prayer. So the lovely sentiment from Rose & Chamomile is perfect. I wanted this full image to take front stage, so I used the Wonky Stitched dies with a blue mat, and that makes for a very mail friendly card.
And since I've used the decorative wonky stitching for my border, I'm using this for this week's Ways To Use It challenge.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card. I hope you like it, and I hope that it will encourage my friend. Have a wonderful weekend coming up, and let's all continue to pray for our country and for France.

Cheryl your coloring is always so spectacular and the added stitching on the border is such a perfecting finishing touch. Beautifully done. Thank you for creating such a stunning card for the decorative borders challenge.

Beautiful as always! The sunflower is my favorite flower, they always make me smile, just like your cards. The stitching is great, a little funky :O) Back home there is a beautiful rustic garden store on an acreage that has a field of them to pass while driving on the dirt road to get there, I could sit and stare at them for hours!
Hugs & Well Wishes :O)

Cheryl, I get confused because I comment on your blog and think I've commented on SCS! But NO! So just want to add my admiration for this beautiful card! Your coloring is always so lovely and the shading seems perfect! BTW, you have enabled my to buy the MFT dies...I thought they were so cute!
