Hello, my sweet friends! Well, if you've not yet heard, Power Poppy is having a blow-out birthday celebration for Marcy who just loves to celebrate! I'm using one of the THREE newly remixed digital images she's releasing today, and they are all great for masculine cards. The sentiments are great and include some that are perfect for Father's Day that is coming up. As many of you know, I really struggle with masculine cards.
I used X-Press It Blending Card because it was so much easier for blending large areas like the sky. I had to Google images of fly-fishing to see what color a trout was and some ideas for the outfit. But it was fun, and I used the new Wonky Stitched Rectangles die and matted it with green. And I just added "happy birthday" to add to my stash that I will need for one of our three sons and two grandsons. So one down - hehe!
So, dear friends, thanks for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you have a wonderful week coming up. Big hugs!
Stop by my blog for more details and links about this weekend's celebration, new monthly challenge, and opportunities to win a stamp set.

Eight. Eight Favs of the Week! Sister, my jaw dropped and I took a deep breath as I took in the depth of color in your creation! You tell that man, your class was worth every dime! I would just love to sit and watch your color. Your framing is delish. L-o-v-e this card! Squishies!

Cheryl! Thanks for visiting my SCS gallery and commenting. So nice to hear we have a mutual friend in Pauline. I love this card ... and you're not the only one who has a problem with masculine cards, I certainly do... but you've mastered this one. I definitely need that Wonky Stitched Rectangles die --- off to google it now lol. Have a great weekend. Carla.

Oh, I LOVE this, Cheryl. What a fabulous guy card. I google things sometimes so I can get the correct color, also.

You've been busy making cards I see. Can't keep up with you. This is a fantastic masculine card. The water and sky are done beautifully and who can't love that image colored so well too. I love it. I wish I had time to do more comments, but I did look through all the cards you've made since I was last online and am speechless at your talent. I'll be back to visit as soon as I can! HUGS TILL THEN!
