This one is a comedy of errors. I colored her with copics and pencils, got down to her socks and shoes and had a mess. The wax from the pencils globbed up so I erased as much as I could, then did the unthinkable, went over it with copics. Duh, alcohol and wax make a mess. I fussy cut her and reprinted the image, coloring the shoes and socks and pasting her on. When Susie Australia writes about her amputations, I laugh hysterically, until it happened here. After it was pasted down, the teddy ear fell off and glued itself elsewhere on the paper. I picked it off, glued it in place leaving a nice blemish on the paper near her hand. At this point I realized teddy's legs are wrinkled too but it was time to call it a day. I added the flourish, hoping it would take attention away from the damaged paper. Thanks to my lousy photography, it doesn't show up very well in the photo. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, my, Nancy! This is gorgeous, and I so love your soft coloring! How funny (not then but now) with all the problems you had. It sure doesn't show it at all, and it's a stunning card with the soft hues and beautiful stitching that is so "Nancy" along with the nail heads! Stunning, my friend! So glad to see you are adding to your gallery again! Missed you! Hugs!

Can you be in love with a card? Well I am love with this one! Wow! The image grabs your heart and your coloring makes it really, really special. The dimension is subtle and adds to the sweetness. I was thinking that flourish is such genius and after reading your story I think it is even more genius-y. I have missed your cards and I am so glad to be back in the stamping world again. Two more weeks and my life should be back to normal. Millions of hugz and this card is so wonderful my friend. Hugz

It is like an old fashioned story book picture and just so soft and lovely. Love your story too, sounds like something that would happen to me, but I would never be able to fix. Into my faves too, just so I can gaze at it some more.
OMGoodness, this is simply AWESOME!!! I just found it on Pinterest and had to come here to comment. I read your story but honestly it looks perfect to me! I wish I could fix my boo-boos this good
I keep staring at this card. There is such sweetness and gentleness in the image. The coloring is incredible; I think I can reach out and touch her hair and find that it's real. The stitching is wonderful, and the lacing reminds me of stays--adds to the old-world feeling of your card. TFS. Daria
