This one is a comedy of errors. I colored her with copics and pencils, got down to her socks and shoes and had a mess. The wax from the pencils globbed up so I erased as much as I could, then did the unthinkable, went over it with copics. Duh, alcohol and wax make a mess. I fussy cut her and reprinted the image, coloring the shoes and socks and pasting her on. When Susie Australia writes about her amputations, I laugh hysterically, until it happened here. After it was pasted down, the teddy ear fell off and glued itself elsewhere on the paper. I picked it off, glued it in place leaving a nice blemish on the paper near her hand. At this point I realized teddy's legs are wrinkled too but it was time to call it a day. I added the flourish, hoping it would take attention away from the damaged paper. Thanks to my lousy photography, it doesn't show up very well in the photo. Thanks for stopping by.

As soon as I saw this beauty I knew it was yours Nancy. When I have a few minutes to check out the gallery and see your stitching it makes me smile... Your coloring is amazing my dear.... I'm so sorry to read about all of your problems with the card, but I would have to say then you are a fabulous photographer. It looks like perfection to me.

Ahhh Nancy! I cannot put this in my favourites because I only fav what I have some hope of emulating. No hope I could ever approach this kind of wondrous artistry! I love your quiet colouring and gentle embellishment. This is a card that let's the mind wonder about the story the image portrays. I LOVE this in a very large way!

Your surgery was a success - you reattached the amputations with such skill that they appear flawless. I enjoyed your story almost as much as your beautiful card. Oh to have your talent!
