When I saw Jen's card which you can view here I knew it was one I had to try some day and this challenge was the motivation I needed. I didn't really case it, I blatantly copied it with the exception of changing the leaves, the leaf coloring and the stitching was by hand because it was easier than hauling down that tank of a machine and setting it up. I simply drew a wavy line on acetate and pierced it, using it as a template to then pierce the card and hand stitch. Jen has such a delightful, CAS style and her cards are always so well designed. She encourages so many of us with kind words. Thanks for stopping by. I hope to do this challenge all year long.

Stunning! The overall vibe, even in thumbnail, is soft and serene, as if you were walking along on the beach and looked down and saw that focal point just sitting in the sand. Did you color and fussy cut those leaves after stamping? I love nature-inspired details and those leaves looks so real... and the stitching is fantastic...

Sometimes I see a card that I just can't get out of my mind and want to CASE or copy it! Unfortunately, I often have the desire, but not the ability. This is a fantastic CASE!

So glad you got to put your take on Jen's gorgeous card!! This is such a serene and peaceful looking card - not to mention your beautiful touch of the hand stitching and the soft sponging to give it such a warm look!! Those leaves and the twine are so 'au naturale'!
