Michelle asked us to use color on our cards today. YAY! I think that is one of my favorites
I made the background panel by using the embossing folder first, then smearing some Gelato colors over the card, then wipe with a baby wipe to soften the colors and help them blend a little.
The AI image was sent by Fran (Phil's Mom) Thanks Fran!!! I colored it with Copic markers.
I also added some color to the two outer roses so they would match the color palette better (they were both a pale yellow to start). I used my distressing tool too.
Fun challenge! Can't wait to see what some of our SUPER colorers (is that a word?) make!

You and Polly are on the same wave length with your quirky "older" ladies, Kathleen....and you're gallery neighbors too. But your card are in different directions. Love how your floral spray echoes the flowers on the gal's hat...neat attention to detail.

I think "colorers" is an excellent word, however if it is a word, we would spell it colourers...I digress, about your amazing card...I love the contradiction, elegant embossing and colours and a funny old gal with her ruby cheeks. Love it all my friend and straight into My Favs.
