Apologies for my oh-so-generic title.
These were so fun to do. After die cutting I cut the skates again in silver shine. They are a bit more grungy than the photo shows. They were inked with gray and tea inks. Then 24 mini eyelets were set and Irish linen thread was used for the shoe laces. I sketched the seam on the heal of the boot and pierced with Pergamano piercing tool and hand stitched each skate around the laces and heel. I then cut the blade off the white skate and adhered to the shimmer skate. Crinkled some seam binding from Joann's and added a few MS pine sprigs and holly. Finally hand stitched around the card and added the tiny sentiment.

This is unbelievable - and you think I'M creative? The work involved in creating this masterpiece blows me away. If I had even thought about it it would never have gotten done. This is so awesome I'm speechless!

all those fiddley little bits that add such depth and personalization from 'just a die cut. love the piercing and lacing on the boots and of course the long laces hanging from the peg festive with the trim. This is a delightful card...
