It has been so long since I uploaded a card I wondered if I'd remember how to do it! Between hockey photo commitments in March, being away on a cruise in April (fabulous time) and being sick since we got home in mid-May (not so fabulous) I have not spent any time in my "Rubber Room" nor have I played with my punches.
I love the Queen for the Day challenge here on Splitcoast and it is my goal to one day catch up by creating cards in honour of all of the Queens that I have missed when it was their week with the crown. One gallery that I love browsing is Kittie747's - her gallery is filled with amazing creations and quite simply leaves me in awe of her talents. She was "Queen for the Day #15" . Yup, that was a while ago. {blushing at my tardiness} Kittie has kindly uploaded fabulous tutorials for some of her flowers and floral sprays on her blog.
I chose this beauty as my inspiration. Other than switching some colours/punches I stuck to her design. The link to her tutorial is in the description of her card. Thanks Kittie!
Lots of punching! Ran all the paper I used for the flowers and foliage through the crimper and/or embossing folders. No stamping on the outside but I prettied up the inside with nesties and some stamping and sponging. Embossed the background panel as well.
This card was made for a member of our church whose husband's funeral was held today after a lengthy illness.

Your card is so beautiful! The white flowers and trellis look so stunning against the green embossed bg and the leafy spray. You really are an amazing Punchkateerz!
