For this week's challenge we were to bring either cars, trucks, hockey, football, gardening, food, books or cooks.
I brought a cook. I know this chef stamp will probably be used a lot this week, but I can never get tired of seeing it in the gallery. This is actually the first SU stamp, I bought 3 years ago when I started stamping. (There's about 1000 plus examples for this stamp in the SU gallery--and they are all so cute and creative)
I also tried to use a sketch from the sketch gallery with my card, since I finally became brave enough to try them. Since there are over 300 sketches in the gallery I have a lot of catching up to do!
I orginally bought this stamp to make cards for my husband. He is a fabulous cook. I am so spoiled.
Well, you probably have guessed by now, that I don't have a story, again, for this week, So I guess all the above chatter is my story...smile.

Love how you used this image, Jill. The paper piecing is great and I like your layout as well. Think quite a few of us reached for this image...it's the only chef one I have. But it is fun to see what everyone has done with it.

Lucky you having a husband who cooks! Three of my brothers-in-law are all wonderful cooks, but my DH reckons what's the point in marrying a cook and then having to cook yourself. Sigh...
I agree, it's always lovely seeing the chef in the gallery, and I too am hoping to see several more this week as well as the ones I've already seen. Yours looks great in his pieced outfit and those cheerful colours.

I too love this stamp set. I really like the papers you used and I don't know if you planned it or not but on his sleeve the polka dot looks like a button. Great card!
