I think I'll be making another card to send Kim, but when I read MM's story this morning my mind ran away with me - I think it's the painkillers for my headache.
Marco is an Italian chef? I'm not so sure - if he doesn't know that sole is sunshine and not fish, I question his cooking talents too. But no doubt about it, he can sing - maybe that's why Sally and Delores fell for him.
A2 base is watercolour paper. I stamped the chef, masked him and drew in the tiles. While he was masked I also stamped Music Notes in Versafine Black and a Hero Arts script stamp in Walnut Stain. The background is sponged with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Soot Black around the edges. I scored the lines for the tiles and then masked them off and sponged them, using Soot Black, and a combination of Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick for the red tiles, as Fired Brick certainly isn't the colour of the quarry tiles I grew up with . I striped the chef's trousers and coloured his scarf and face. Menu is computer generated and cut with Fancy Tags. Little sole - they look more like sardines to me, they're so small, come from a WhipperSnapper Ike and Mike stamp. I added Marco's song. I mean to add some Glossy Accents to his buttons.

I'm not sure if it was the pain pills or your awesome cardmaking talent, but regardless, I LOVE this creation! Great story to go with your clever design.

Sabrina,
What a cute little Italian restaurant you've created. A table for two please! The floor/wall,menu and song are all great touches to your card. So very cute!
