This is for CAS101 and our challenge was to use snow in some way on our card. I love this little Rubbernecker girl fimage called When at First You Don't Succeed falling down with her ice skates. I thought she would look great colored in bright colors and layered on pure white background with just a hint of color in the trees and sentiment. The polka dot embossing looks like falling snow. I love the aqua and light green colors together and think they are a perfect match for a fun snowy card. This is about as clean and simple as I can get but I love the finished card.
I stamped the little girl twice on watercolor paper, colored with a brush and reinkers mixed with water and cut out. I painted the hat and knee/leg section of the image, cut out and popped up over the main image layer. I fluffed up the pom pom on the hat by adding Glossy Accents and Polar White Flower Soft.

Kittie, it's interesting to hear your thoughts about where the design was going to go and see how it turned out. I agree with all of your color choices- bright on the little girl with a white on white background. Using the dotted EF for a snowy sky is genius so I'm putting this into my favs for future inspiration. I love this.
