LateBlossom posted her One Layer Wednesday challenge to use yellow on a one layer card. It is so hard to do a one layer card perfectly the first time - can't hide the mistakes and smudges with layering! So this card is made from one of my attempts at her challenge. I got a big smudge on the lower part of the flowers when I was colouring it - so I recycled it into this card.
I cut out the part of the flower image that was salvageable with an oval nestie, added a matching scalloped layer, popped it up on a matching cardbase with a nesties tag tied on with green twine.

Such a pretty CAS card - some of our mistakes can certainly turn into beautiful cards and this is one of those! I have had some 'oopsies' that simply cannot be salvaged. So glad this worked out for you 'cuz I love it!

As a lover of CAS, this really appeals to me. Your flower is so bright and beautiful and I love all the white space you've left. The twine seems just right with this.
