Yeah, it's a happy day for me and all those that follow our QFTD challenge!
If you're not familiar with the QFTD, here's the LINK. Come join us as we congratuate and honor a fellow stamper that gives each of us inspiration, supportive comments and a great sense of being a part of her life.
Yes, today's 24th Queen For The Day is none other than Canada's finest, Peggy-Sue! Yeah, Peggy-Sue! Congratulations my friend. Despite having been involved in untold numbers of school activities throughout the year, you've managed to participate in every QFTD challenge we've had thus far.
Of all the stampers that have been selected to date, this is the first time I have ever been able to case any Queens' cards. The reason is simple: I dont have any of the stamps they used. But, alas, today is different. No, I still dont have the stamps Peggy-Sue used, but I do have the paper she used on this perfectly adorable FROG card Peggy-Sue made to honor our very 1st Queen ~ Mutnic.
The only reason I have the paper is because I purchased it on Coronado Island in their giant size, 21 x 36. I just happened to send some along to Peggy-Sue never thinking she'd actually use it, but use it she did. So this week I can honestly say I've cased a Queen's card. Woot! as Mudder say.
Have a wonderful day Peggy-Sue. As I tell all those that came before you ~ do chinese tonight because today is all about you. Just relax and enjoy and leave all the other stuff to the kids.
A huge thanks to Sue, aka Coffee Stamper and Irene, aka IandD93 for the SU Asian Set. It's so my style.

Anne, you did it again! You made the most beautiful and elegant card. I LOVE your embossed image and that dp is the most fabulous I've seen. It looks like real crossed ribbons. Your twig and gold chain just push this one over da top. GORGEOUS work and a wonderful tribute to Queen Peggy-Sue!! TFS!!

Wow Anne-this is pure eye candy. I keep staring at the background paper as it looks almost 3D-an optical illusion I am thinking. I love this image with this paper too-a marriage of beauty and elegance!

Great job this week Miss Anne!!
Wow this paper? I thought you acutally wove some ribbons into this fabulous design. It's a gorgeous bg for this beautifully designed card. I thought of you when I saw this set! I'm glad it's in your possession. You've created a beauty here. Love the gold embossing too. Perfection.

If my memory does not decieve me -and I don't think it does - I've seen this card before in your gallery. That's how you seem to churn out so many cards each week, is it? You don't fool me, Miss Annie!!!! It's a lovely card indeed - not a masterpiece of art like my cards - but it has it's moments. Actually its very lovely - and that paper is just gorgeous!
The only thing is - this is a repeat card!!! Ruh Roh!! Calling in the challenge police on this one..... Well, back to my studio!!!! The copics await my magic touch............ ;)
