Yeah, it's a happy day for me and all those that follow our QFTD challenge!
If you're not familiar with the QFTD, here's the LINK. Come join us as we congratuate and honor a fellow stamper that gives each of us inspiration, supportive comments and a great sense of being a part of her life.
Yes, today's 24th Queen For The Day is none other than Canada's finest, Peggy-Sue! Yeah, Peggy-Sue! Congratulations my friend. Despite having been involved in untold numbers of school activities throughout the year, you've managed to participate in every QFTD challenge we've had thus far.
Of all the stampers that have been selected to date, this is the first time I have ever been able to case any Queens' cards. The reason is simple: I dont have any of the stamps they used. But, alas, today is different. No, I still dont have the stamps Peggy-Sue used, but I do have the paper she used on this perfectly adorable FROG card Peggy-Sue made to honor our very 1st Queen ~ Mutnic.
The only reason I have the paper is because I purchased it on Coronado Island in their giant size, 21 x 36. I just happened to send some along to Peggy-Sue never thinking she'd actually use it, but use it she did. So this week I can honestly say I've cased a Queen's card. Woot! as Mudder say.
Have a wonderful day Peggy-Sue. As I tell all those that came before you ~ do chinese tonight because today is all about you. Just relax and enjoy and leave all the other stuff to the kids.
A huge thanks to Sue, aka Coffee Stamper and Irene, aka IandD93 for the SU Asian Set. It's so my style.

...Anne....your specialty (among many) is creating the unexpected. I never would have used this gorgeous paper to do an Asian card and here you've made it look exactly like it was meant to be an Asian mat. I just love it with you get all arty on us. Beautiful card. TFS.

What a beautiful card, Anne. That paper is gorgeous and is perfect paired with your Asian image. Using the twig to hang the image was a stroke of genius. The gold embossing is stunning. This card deserves to be permanently displayed.
(I didn't get in on the QFTD until about #6. I just may go back to #1 and make a card today--and an extra every week until I get caught up.)
