I was so happy to see today's distressing challenge, because I use distressed edges all the time. This card was made for my mother, Cleo (Lovingzinnias), who loves distressing, too. She also loves purples and greens together. I tried to really make it all about what she loves...because I love her.
This is a case of a beautiful card, Vintage Vogue Friends , made by tylersmum05. Thanks for the inspiration! I changed the colors, sentiment, and added ribbon and other embellishments.
Part of the sentiment was made on the computer. I made French knots for the center of the flowers using ribbon and waxed thread. The butterflies are vellum.

What a gorgeous vintage design....such beautiful colors and I love the flowers, butterflies, and distressing!!!! The ribbon knot flower centers look awesome, too!!!

OM goodness this is gorgeous! I missed it first time around and hate that I did. Love the vellum and love the french knots. You are just sooooooooo talented on the finishing part.....colors are terrific.
