This is a birthday card for my husband, Kerry. His birthday this year falls on Father's Day, as well. To say he is a wonderful husband and father doesn't quite cover it....he's awesome!
This is a case of today's featured stamper, Christy S. Her gallery is an amazing place for inspiration...such beautiful cards! I chose this card, Grandpa's Birthday Card. The colors are very similar, but I did change them a little. I also changed the sketch just a bit, and of course the stamp.
This lighthouse stamp is Keep My Lamp Burning from Our Daily Bread designs. I bought it just to use for Kerry's birthday. It reminds me of one of our favorite vacations to the Outer Banks and visiting the lighthouses there. I cut out and popped up the lighthouse and the seagulls. It is colored with watercolor pencils and an aquapainter.
I think he will like it....hope you do, too. TFL!

Stunning! Love the striped paper behind your image and the way you looped the twine around the brads, I think both those details add to the nautical feel of this card. Gorgeous!! Thanks so much for playing!!

Beautiful job on this. I love lighthouses and what a perfect b-day card reflecting a special memory you have with your honey. Great design and love the brad twine treatment.
