This card is for a friend of mine that is taking chemo treatments right now. I hope it will help her to smile. I used Radiant Pearls to paint the butterfly.
For me, it will be five years next Spring since I was diagnosed. I am so happy to see all the many cards that will be donated...they mean so much. I know that they'll give encouragemant and hope....hope that your hair will come back (eyelashes, eyebrows, nose hair...ha!, etc.), hope that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, hope in knowing that others love you and are praying for you. Or.....the hope that you CAN get past this disease and finally learn it's okay to spend time and energy on yourself by spending an unspeakable amount of money on rubber stamps and ink so that you can become totally addicted to card making and staying on the computer obsessing over cards that others make....well, maybe that's just me.
I also want to encourage anyone who doesn't do self breast exams to start today!
