this card is for todays challenge to do negative/positive splits on colored paper. May i preface my presenting this card with the statement that birthing my 3 children was easier than this! My new years resolution(yes starting on New Years Eve i know) is to push myself and really try what i normally shy away from. {sigh} apparently their are reasons my brain tells me to shy away from things!
But i tried and here is my card. TA DAH!
i embossed the butterfly with gold on pomegranate and So Saffron printed paper, the base of the card is pomegranate.
going to lay down with a cold compress now...

That card looks fabulous!!! Listen, if this card was more difficult the birthing your 3 kids, then you must have had some pretty easy labours!!!!! And, I speak from the experience of birthing 2 children ...but we won't go there. Actually I am just dying of laughter at your story!!! Honestly, your card looks fabulous!! Love the colours, love the embossing.. Okay, I admit I haven't tried this challenge yet, and I guess I'd better try it before I speak too soon. Give me a day or two.... New years eve, and then New Years dinner..... - then I'll give it a try!!!!
Thanks for sharing your lovely card and your hilarious take on it!!! Happy New Year!

I hear you and I totally sympathize. Had to crack up at your birthing comment... but I understand where you're coming from. If it's any consolation, this turned out beautiful!
