Brenda is our Inspiration Challenge hostess this week and she has chosen a site full of color! I was scrolling down the #SWColorLove Gallery admiring what others have done with color in their home when I saw THIS photo. I save photos as I go when I am browsing our Inspiration sites and then later make a decision on which one I want to use but when I saw the succulent my browsing was finished!
The Aeonium African Succulent by Picket Fence Studios is huge and gorgeous and I couldn't wait to create something with it! I decided to use just a small portion of the succulent. Using my Life Changing Blender Brushes I added soft color to the succulent and fussy cut it. I adhered the lower portion to the card base but popped up the Points of the succulent for a fun dimensional look. The sentiment is from Stand in the Sunshine.
I hope you will stop by my blog post for more info.

Angie, what an elegant and gorgeous CAS card using the succulent as inspiration! I love it, and what stunning blending. I finally "caved" and got the new brushes and LOVE them! Oh my! Got them directly from Picket Fence with free shipping, so that made me happy. But this card makes me happy to see it too! Hugs and love, sweet and dear friend. And keep warm!! Brrr!! xoxo
