and the weekly Double Dare Challenge I do with a small group of SCS friends - that challenge was hosted by Joan Ervin and the instructions were to make a summer card using flowers and a bird (or whatever is summery)

The black panel is dry embossed with the distressed stripes Cuttlebug folder but you can't see it too well. The flowers are SU rub ons. The bird and sentiment are up on foam dimensionals. I punched the scallop edge with my corner rounder with the guide piece taken off.

WOWZER, Julia...what a fabulous triple challenge card!!! I love your awesome design with the layers and stamps...the scalloped layers and the little cutout bird are such wonderful details!!! Beautifully done, my friend!!

I thought this was a great sketch OCC came up with, and it's perfect for your beautiful card, Julia! I can see the dry embossing, and the popped-up bird and scallops are wonderful!

Awesome way to multi-challenge Julia! I've been having to do that a lot lately too with school wrapping up (today), I've been trying to get all of my appointments and errands out of the way so I can spend time with my son.
I love your card design, it is so clean and refreshing. Love the color choice! Beautiful work, as always.

I love the repetition of the scallops and that tiny bird popped up on the flower panel!! What a sweet, clean card, Julia!!! And a trifecta too! WOW!
