I love the inspiration pics; especially the colors. They reminded me of the almost ice cream colors of houses on Battery row in Charleston, S.C. My sis I went there a few years back and I really loved it. Also, I had so much fun w/ the photo and sketch card yesterday, I thought I'd try it again.
I scanned a couple of photos, then did some major color alteration on them. I really wanted to get an almost deco look to the Victorian row houses. This was just printed on regular paper. I think if I do this again I'll put it on photo paper.
So, I printed it and built the card around it. The lamp post (Beeswax) was stamped and colored, cut out and attached to blue c/s and cut around the right edge.
The row houses (Clearsnap rollagraph) were stamped and colored w/ markers as was the hibiscus (Sonlight). These make up my horizontal and vertical bands of the sketch. The word Charleston was handwritten. TFL

This is so pretty....I've never been to Charleston, SC, but I did a big cross stitch piece of these houses several years ago. You've got a really lovely card here!

Oh my goodness, what a stunning card. Love the picture of the Battery and the stamp across the bottom. The lamppost is so perfect and the hibiscus just adds to the 'romantic' aspect of that beautiful picture of incredible homes.
