I loved the banter last night about a possible color combo! Yeah for lovely lilac!!! And it didn't take me long to decide to use Paper Bag Studios friends image for my colors.
I chose to paper piece the girls dresses...stamping the main image onto GP white cs with Heritage Ink (timeless sepia) and embossing in clear. I used the SU colors and inked the pretty in pink with a white polka dot. The two layers were cut using the rectangle nestabilities and the edges rounded. I placed this panel onto white cs that had been run through the CuttleBug with the swiss dot embossing folder. I added the transparent pink ribbon with daisies on it and fiddled with the tails.
Though these girls are elementary school age, they remind me of 8th grade home ec...we were to sew an A-line sheath dress with a zipper in the back. I chose a lime (certainly celery) green with small daisies all over fabric. I remember the zipper was 22 inches long and somehow I got the front caught in the back and had to use the ripper...tore a hole in the front...ugly...but I found a daisy brooch and told everyone, "well that was how I designed it!" Some things never change, do they! And that saying is the truth...call your best friend today and let her know that you are better because of HER...I know I'm going to! Thanks for your comments.

So cute and reminds me of those good ole days too. Great sketch, love the ribbon and the super image.
