This is such a great color combo! And maybe the first time I've used so much gray. I had to really hunt around to find some and finally found a pkg of monochromatic Bazzill c/s that I'd bought a while back. Whew, saved!
This is a pretty simple card. The main image is stamped w/ coal ink onto a bg that I sponged with various yellow dye and yellow and alabaster chalk inks. I started w/ the lightest and worked down to an ochre at the bottom.
All the pieces were edged w/ a black marker and I added some dots on top of the border. I added some white highlights to the image using a white chalk writer pen (Zig) and a white gel pen. TFL

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Wow, this is a masterpiece! Glad you found that gray paper. Love the layout and the square brads.

Oh my....I have had to look at this for several minutes to try and figure out everything you created here. First....love the ombre look with stamp design....I think that is what it is called....going from light to dark tones down the image panel. Love it!!!! Next....your doodling on the textured cardstock looks like fine stitching all the way around. I am just mesmerized by this card...it is truly fabulous!!!! Great work!!!!
