This is my card for Heath and this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. If you would like to play along and make a card for Heath, click here for more information.
This is my story!
1. Okay, well after sending out the cheater email, I could not figure out what I was gonna make for Heath. I have a fishing pole stamp, some fly stamps (as in for fishing lure flys!), a moose stamp and a bear stamp....all of which for some reason did not float my boat!
2. What to do? Go to work and an idea will come! Snort! While at work, I got an email with a crazy story and picture attached from my niece which was the answer to my dilemma.
3. As many of you know the wildfires in Colorado have been brutal. The one in Fort Collins was very close to where we live and there has been so much of the forest burned. The wildlife has been coming into the city.....My boss had a herd of elk in his backyard, there was a mountain lion spotted a few blocks from my house, a moose has been seen in town and Sunday, my neice (Shari) opened up her backdoor (her house is in the middle of town) and this critter was there to greet her!
4. How would you like to open your backdoor half groggy and have this guy saying.....
Good morning!! What's for breakfast? Snort!
I thought Heath would enjoy the card and the story. And I have no more dilemma! See the other picture for a close up of the Mr. Elk of Loveland!

Neat card! Great pic of the BIG elk! I wondered what wildlife would end up where? Your neice was surprised to find one elk in her backyard but OMGosh, I can't imagine what your boss thought when he opened up the door and saw a herd of elk! Wowza! And how scary is it to have a hungry, displaced mountain lion wandering around your neighborhood? Very! Accck! Anyway, I love the pic and the story and I'm sure Heath will, too. Hope to "catch" up soon.

Wow, you sure know how to make the most of EVERYTHING that comes your way - I mean, this moose FELL - right into your lap - you just picked up the ball and carried it by adding all the natural things - the trees, rustic colors and distressing - how lucky can one person get, I ask you? WHAT - it wasn't LUCK you say? - just sheer talent!!! OK, I will definitely give you that one - I know a talented creator of many facets of things like you, doesn't rely on luck, just good old fashioned GENIUS!! You GO, Mudder!! You are going to make Heath one HAPPY FELLA!!

Oh Cindy - this is gorgeous! Sad about the wildlife having to escape the fires, 'kinda' cool to see wild animals up so close (behind doors and windows!) and what an awesome story to build your card around! Love this and so will Heath (although he might be seeing a bulleye in front of him)
