This is for many of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges. The Dirty girls have so many awesome challenges for Fan Club members. I'm trying hard to participate in all of them, but I've had a busy week and then this weekend I'm working the Rubbernecker booth at the Novi, MI Paper Arts Festival [if any of you SCSers attend the event, be sure to introduce yourself!]
This second picture is my card only for a closer view.
My pearls were originally ivory, and I wanted them red, so I colored them with a Copic marker (R59). I used micro pearls from this same set for the center of my rolled handmade flower and the hole on my sentiment tag.
It's hard to see in my photo, but I did a double embossing technique on the pajama-striped embossed cherry cobbler panel behind the bird. I inked up my Linen bg stamp first with Cherry Cobbler and then Very Vanilla (two separate stampings) over the raised embossed stripes.
The ivory center on my Cherry Cobbler MFT die-namic flower is a rolled rose.
I distressed the outer edge of my designer paper with a distressing tool and then sponged Cherry Cobbler ink over that.
