Our Teapot Tuesday cards this week are going to Linda who is having health issues and needs a spot of cheer.
Everything started well, it said something about a cat landing on a big honking daisy and that was as far as I needed to read. Out came my favourite die, sizzix daisy. I drew and coloured the kitty, that went well but then I messed up the wings by drawing brown outlines on them. Then I mounted the kitty and daisy on a yellow ground like the teapot - bad bad bad - too much yellow so tried again this time on blue. Next bit with the border went OK but now it's suppose to be finished and it is lacking something. First I put glitter on the wings and flower centre, better, but not fixed yet. Then came the hearts and the faux stitching for a border. The last thing I added was the kitty sat there so patiently while I kept prodding him with all kinds of embellishments none of which worked that I gave him a halo!
Everything on this card was hand drawn.

I see you took that challenge and that tea pot and went to town on this one. I love your image and how you really crafted your card around both requirements. Great work.

GORGEOUS!! Love your story of how you put the card together. I can relate so closely to your description of cardmaking. I can see why this die is a favorite - an absolutely stunning daisy - especially the way you did the center and colored the petals. Your halo is a super finishing touch on your cute hand drawn Kitty.

fancy coloring, glittering, and stitching on this adorable card! That is a cool die - I may have to look at getting it.
