My grandma taught me how to drink tea, back when I was a toddler. She always poured it boiling hot out of the pan over the tea leaves. I would whine about it being too hot. She would say, "Well, take some in your spoon & blow on it. Or if that would take too long pour some in your saucer & blow on it." And sure enough, the tea would cool & I could enjoy it. Of course it was always accompanied by cookies out of the cookie jar. Whenever I drink tea, I'm transported back to warm & happy memories back in my grandma's kitchen. Now I am teaching my own grandchildren to drink tea. This is my first challenge, as it is the "Teapot Tuesdays" challenge . . . it HAD to be a teapot! Hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Welcome to the teaparty! Your card is just adorable! Your sweet story reminded me of one my Dh tells about his aunt. She would pour her tea into the saucer, then sip it through a sugar cube.

What a wonderful story. Welcome to our little area of tea parties. You'll love it here just like Grandma's house! Love your card. I brought fun memories is singing it in school at a choir performance where we were all little teapots! Hope to see more of your cards here on Teapot Tuesdays.
