Michelle created a Mother's Day card with the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp set. I needed to make another Mother's Day card for the StampinB challenge too, so this worked out great.
I used the same image, but I paper pieced it, used a different nestie, shimmered only the matting of the flower, and not the flower itself, used a different color and dsp. I also left off the ribbon, but added 4 ribbon bow punches with pearls I received in a RAK from good friend Wattle - thanks Kathy - to the corners of the card. I used the Swiss Dots ef for the bows to repeat the dotted pattern of the paper. Used a different MD greeting on punched panels.
The panels, flowers, greeting and first mat are all popped up on dimensionals. The flower was stamped twice and popped up twice which gives it a really neat 3-D effect which I don't think can be seen by the photo.
I had a blast making this card and it was nice to honor Michelle as FS and my friend, Benzi, as a designer for StampinB, with this one card, not to mention the mother I made it for!! So, it was a win, win, win!! LOL!!
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by and I'll be back to comment on other cards this evening. In the meantime, Michelle, ENJOY your special time in the spotlight!!

Pamzi this is gorgeous. I love the glittered background of the flower...that looks superb. The punched bows in the corners are just so sweet. This is really awesome.

What a sweet card, Pamzi!! Great job on your win-win-win here. The colors are gorgeous, your use of punchez is fantastic, and this is a super CASE! And I love your paper piecing and glitter, too. A true knockout

Can you tell me what you've been drinking lately because I want some!! This card is fabulous, Pam! Love the paper pieced flower and the little bows are great! Who makes that punch - it's calling my name LOL! Can't go wrong with polka dots -- I classify them right up there with my Swiss Dots EF. Great card!!
