This is one of the cards I had for my class that I taught last night. I got the idea of embossing the flower and using white craft ink to shade the flower from Nicole Heady.

I just squeezed a little Whisper White Craft Ink out of the re-inker onto a small (coated) paper plate, put some on my small dauber and went in a circular (spiral) motion, starting in the center of the flower. You can go back and get more ink depending on how light you want it. It's a very cool idea, not my own though. Like I said, I saw it on Nicole Heady's blog a month or so ago. I just used all Stampin' Up! materials to do mine. I will definitely do it again. I want to make a card with more of a vintage look. I'll probably use more muted colors and possible the Very Vanilla craft re-inker.
