My card is for my 90 yo long time friend, Kay. We (family and friends) got Kay all moved into Assisted Living. I just wanted to welcome Kay with a small piece of my love and art. Kay has gorgeous art works and will appreciate the 3 hrs. it took me to make her card. Kay is truly a treasure and I love her dearly. BTW, the vase was given to me by Kay and is filled with one of her favorite flowers...forsythia.
Accessories: Many SU markers, tp sponging on pumpkin frame and main image, poly twill choc. chip, cutter kit, mat pack, stampamajig, dimensional tape, sakura clear stardust pen on center of each flower
Techniques: tp sponging, coloring with markers and blender pen, distressing

Nancy, I love that you brought out this set for spring! I've had it all this time but I've still never used it. I'm sure it would be fun for watercoloring. Your pretty card inspires me! I love how you've combined the earthy colors with the pretty paper. Very nice!

Nancy--I think this is probably my favorite off all the cards you've made. There is love in every stroke, cut, and daub. It is a truly beautiful card, from its color combo to its shading and distressing. I agree--also give Kay the photo of the card as you display it here. She is sure to love it--and you--for the way you personalized everything with just her in mind.

I know Kay will have loved this card! It's terrific . . . even by your standards. It's fun to see your cards on this site. Kathy and I keep getting more savvy about Splitcoasters, but we have a long way to go. RobertaS
