I like this stamp/die combination from Picket Fence, except I wish the sentiments were bigger. 'May you always have a shell in your pocket and sand in your toes' and 'Swimming in the Sea is Meant To Be.'
I applied the swirl with masking fluid, let it dry, spritzed the paper with water and added the reinkers. I also splattered with two Dylusians inks: white and jade. The watercolor paper is Dina Wakely heavy weight, really nice thick paper. I created another smaller panel with the jade and the blue for stamping the shell with Versamark and then heat embossed in white. Thanks for these colors, Barbara, I enjoyed them. I feel like I do best with colors close together on the color wheel. Or maybe I just like them better. Dessert was water, which I obviously embraced.

What a striking card! I was saying to myself: how did she do that! I wondered how you got such a perfect spiral and you explained it perfectly. Of course I'm sure a steady hand was involved, too. Thank you for sharing!
This is aqua-licious! Love the swirl/whirlpool and the nifty shell accent. You are right, those fun sentiments should be large enough to see without needing a magnifying glass.
