I struggled with my watercoloring today. Probably because I still refuse to actually buy watercolors. I use what I have. I decided that pine branches framing this cute Thanksgiving scene could make a fun Christmas scene. I did some stamping and masking to put a Santa hat on the bear to turn my Thanksgiving scene into Christmas. You may remember these animals from this Thanksgiving card. Well they're back with mashed potatoes and pie for Christmas. They should learn some new recipes. I used the same background stencil for today's card, but this time I lightly watercolored through it with Evergreen Bough and Old Paper Distress ink. Then I watercolored the pine branches with Distress ink and watercolored the animals with Spectrum Aqua markers. Applied Wink of Stella to the snowy ground and Stickles to the Santa hat. Splattered the scene with a little bit of white acrylic snow.
