I was inspired by a beautiful card by Yana Smakula and had just inked up these flowers yesterday. I was thinking I might fussy cut the edge when up popped today's Teapot challenge. So perfect timing for me.
The card didn't need the rhinestones (I'm really not a rhinestone girl), but I wanted Katherine to have some bling so I added them. Everything else is stamp, color, paste.
I hope these cards do send a little sunshine and cheer to Katherine, I can't even imagine how difficult this battle must be for her and her family. So I am also including much positive energy and prayers along with the card.
I thought I would try to sneak this into the Color Challenge as well It's not exactly the colors of the day, but they are the same families so maybe it's ok?

Beautiful case of Yana's card and I am loving the gorgeous blend of colors on that bouquet of posies. You may not be a rhinestone girl but your scattering of gems on this card looks fabulous!

I was just looking at that stamp in SSS the other day. I love how big they are. You colored them beautifully and I think the colors are just perfect for the color challenge!

So pretty - such lovely flowers and colors. I love that you thought of her and thought she would like some bling. She is sure to treasure this beauty. I do. Hugz

Lovely colours and colouring. And it's so effective the way the cut flowers overlay that soft textured pink. I'm not much of a bling person either but I do think that it looks lovely and makes the card extra special.

What a bright and beautiful creation Debbie. I love that you added bling to bring some extra sparkle to Katherine's day. Everything about this makes me smile.
