I was inspired by a beautiful card by Yana Smakula and had just inked up these flowers yesterday. I was thinking I might fussy cut the edge when up popped today's Teapot challenge. So perfect timing for me.
The card didn't need the rhinestones (I'm really not a rhinestone girl), but I wanted Katherine to have some bling so I added them. Everything else is stamp, color, paste.
I hope these cards do send a little sunshine and cheer to Katherine, I can't even imagine how difficult this battle must be for her and her family. So I am also including much positive energy and prayers along with the card.
I thought I would try to sneak this into the Color Challenge as well It's not exactly the colors of the day, but they are the same families so maybe it's ok?

Love how the flowers are scattered across your card.

Wow! This is so gorgeous Debbie and sure to brighten Katherine's day when she receives this beauty in the mail. You have colored these bold blooms to the 9's. I love how you placed this design on the horizontal and cut around the flowers for added dimension. How nice of you to add some pretty bling to this card for Katherine and what a terrific sentiment this is for Katherine too. Hugs! ~Karen.

Your beautifully coloured flowers will bring so much joy to Katherine, I’m sure, Debbie! Love how you have placed the little rhinestones and the pretty pink paper, too! Lovely sentiment, too~
