I've been continuing to work on my Christmas cards, and I need lots more cards. But here's one of those "special" Christmas cards that I really enjoyed coloring (my favorite relaxation). This is the newest Instant Gardener release, and I decided to use the entire image (how could I crop this off the first time, right?). Anyway, it was a delight to color, and I ended up using one of my Grand Scalloped Rectangle dies and gilded the edges with my Krylon pen (which was a stinker this week). I ended up having to redo the scalloped die after I smeared the first one. Ugh!
I hope to crop this and enlarge a portion of it for more Christmas cards. That's one of the most wonderful things about digis - resizing and cropping them.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful week! Time is flying by, and I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving will be upon us in just two weeks.
Love all my special SCS friends. You are so dear! Hugs, all! xoxo

Such EXQUISITE coloring Cheryl.....just fabulous! You are the "queen" of coloring...love the shading. Your images, like this one, are so perfect, they look like the really thing! Gold gilded is lovely...it was worth the effort!

Cheryl, this is fabulous. Your coloring is out of this world. The highlights on the berries, shading on the roses and holly. Wow, I agree with Susie, those berries look real.

Oh, my gosh, Cheryl, you know this one is JUMPING into my faves! Your coloring is exquisite as always, but that gilding is the frosting on the cake, just stunning!

This image might me too much of a temptation to resist, Cheryl. I love roses with pine and holly for Christmas and this arrangement is gorgeous and your coloring is spot on. Into my favorites.
