I've been continuing to work on my Christmas cards, and I need lots more cards. But here's one of those "special" Christmas cards that I really enjoyed coloring (my favorite relaxation). This is the newest Instant Gardener release, and I decided to use the entire image (how could I crop this off the first time, right?). Anyway, it was a delight to color, and I ended up using one of my Grand Scalloped Rectangle dies and gilded the edges with my Krylon pen (which was a stinker this week). I ended up having to redo the scalloped die after I smeared the first one. Ugh!
I hope to crop this and enlarge a portion of it for more Christmas cards. That's one of the most wonderful things about digis - resizing and cropping them.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful week! Time is flying by, and I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving will be upon us in just two weeks.
Love all my special SCS friends. You are so dear! Hugs, all! xoxo

I just love snow drops - have a pot of them out in the garden which come up at the end of winter with such delicate little flowers. Our climate is too hot for these delicate beauties - but I persist with my little pot. I also greatly admire the way you edged the scallops - what a steady hand that must have taken. Just another beautifully stunningly coloured card.

Hi Cheryl. WOW, is this a beautiful card creation. I have not been on SCS in a while and I missed this beauty. Cheryl, you really need to frame this card and when you decorate for the holidays make it part of your Christmas decorations. Your coloring is out of this world wonderful. Looking at it makes my jaw drop.......I'm not kidding. Any way, thank you too, for your sweet comments on my Winter Wonderland card. You are such a sweet friend. I made 39 of those Winter Wonderland cards.........even had my husband help me cut out all those blue houses and all those yellow windows. He's a keeper, that guy. Have a great holiday season. I wish your husband well with his upcoming surgery.
Love,
Kerry
