This is for the MISTI Monday October 2017 challenge. Details can be found here.
The challenge is to do repeat stamping using MISTI - ombre style. OK, the ombre style got a bit lost here, initially the tree trunks were ombre brown, followed by ombre style green leaves, then ombre orange and red.
In my defense I nailed the repeat stamping and I will definitely be doing this again. This card took less than 15 minutes to make, that's about 5 hours better than anything I've ever made - bonus!!!
The grass and sky where quickly done with the Smack and Squirt technique - smack a distress ink pad onto a sheet of aluminium foil, squirt on a good amount of water, then using a foam blending tool, scrub the inky water onto the card.
A light spritz of water was misted over the card, a few white pen marks were added along with a doodled border. I then scrubbed undiluted walnut stain distress ink around the edges.
Finally I added a gazillion spots of liquid pearls. I am determined to use the last drop of these pesky little bottles before they curl up and die like all the other bottles!!
Thanks for looking. I hope you will join in this fun monthly challenge sponsored by SCS's Platinum Partner, My Sweet Petunia.

Who knew we had a monthly MISTI challenge??!! I just LOVE your beautiful trees Susie! and you cracked me up about using every drop of your liquid pearls - can't tell you how many liquid things I go to use (after years of sitting on the shelf) and they are solidified! This card is gorgeous!

Wonderful and fun and really artsy, Susie. I love the look of the other trees in the bg with the misty green fog like early morning. The millions of dotted leaves are super fun too. Great fun!

You are right, notifications are definitely not working :-(. What an autumnal beauty, Susie. The warm colours are beautiful and I love all the Liquid Pearl dots. And the sky, such a lovely colour and almost transparent looking.

Oh, wow, Sis, this is AMAZING and GORGEOUS! Yes, all of the above...you are truly an artist at heart, and I also didn't know that MISTI had a monthly challenge. So thanks for sharing that...I absolutely LOVE my MISTI. This does look like a painting from one of the masters, and the background is amazing and so beautiful. And I always love your borders. Stunning, Sis, absolutely stunning!! Squishy hugs...love you to bits! xoxo

This is gorgeous! The dots of light add so much. My white pens never work for me. I will be back here, and if I do trees, you will know where I got the inspiration.
