This is for the MISTI Monday October 2017 challenge. Details can be found here.
The challenge is to do repeat stamping using MISTI - ombre style. OK, the ombre style got a bit lost here, initially the tree trunks were ombre brown, followed by ombre style green leaves, then ombre orange and red.
In my defense I nailed the repeat stamping and I will definitely be doing this again. This card took less than 15 minutes to make, that's about 5 hours better than anything I've ever made - bonus!!!
The grass and sky where quickly done with the Smack and Squirt technique - smack a distress ink pad onto a sheet of aluminium foil, squirt on a good amount of water, then using a foam blending tool, scrub the inky water onto the card.
A light spritz of water was misted over the card, a few white pen marks were added along with a doodled border. I then scrubbed undiluted walnut stain distress ink around the edges.
Finally I added a gazillion spots of liquid pearls. I am determined to use the last drop of these pesky little bottles before they curl up and die like all the other bottles!!
Thanks for looking. I hope you will join in this fun monthly challenge sponsored by SCS's Platinum Partner, My Sweet Petunia.

This is incredible. Those trees really come to life in such beautiful colours. One day I am going to get to sit and watch you work creating one of your inky master pieces - I will bring a big apron to wear to protect me from the flying inks.

Susie - this is simply amazing!
LOL on using all the liquid pearls before it curls up and dies! Totally understand. Got back into mixed media; one of my gels was super jelly and my crackle paste was rock hard.
Love the rich color and the fine doodling at the top! Gorgeous!
