I made this card for the letter Y alphabet challenge (for yarn, yellow and you). I am more than a week behind in posting this card so am playing catch up now. I took a full 8.5 x 11" sheet of white cardstock and sprinkled Ken Oliver color burst powders over the entire thing, then I spritz it very generously with water and let all the colors blend and bleed together. Once this dries thoroughly, then I use Elmer's Spray adhesive on the entire sheet of this water colored cardstock. Immediately pour the glitter onto the spray adhesive and allow to set for 5 minutes or so. Now die cut the kitty from this piece of water colored and glitter card stock. Then place the glittered kitty die over some bermuda bay cardstock and trace around it and cut it out with sharp scissors. Glue the bermuda bay piece behind the sparkly piece with tombo glue. Die cut the yarn from the SB Kitty Play die set out of yellow suede paper. Stamped small images around edge of card base, mounted the stitched rectangle piece, stamped the sentiment and added the die cut pieces. In real life this kitty die is super sparkly, but I could not get that to show up in the photo. Thanks for looking today! ~Karen.

Congrats on getting faves of the week!. This is so sweet. I think you had fun with this one, my friend. Love your playful stamping on the background piece as well. Love your idea of the colorbursts for this cat with that ball of yarn. Genius placement.
